Isaias, works with communities and civil society groups, involving them in the decision-making process, acting as a point of contact, providing relevant information and supporting its dissemination.
Holds a Degree in Biology with a specialization in Animal Biology and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Panama. He has undertaken postgraduate studies in Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Management, and Conservation and Management of Protected Areas. Isaías has also completed studies in: Impacts of Megaprojects on Coastal Marine Areas, Assessment and Evaluation of Environmental Projects, Environmental Management in Ports and Marinas, Economic Valuation of Natural Resources, and Soil Conservation. He has worked for the National Environmental Authority (now Ministry of Environment) and for the Aquatic Resources Authority of Panama.
