She specializes in International Environmental Law from American University, a program in which he participated as a Fulbright Scholar; and Bachelor of Law and Political Science from the University of Panama (Summa Cum Laude). She served as Chief Legal Counsel and Advisor to the Superior Office of the Ministry of Environment, participating in the creation of this new ministry, the negotiation of the Escazú Agreement, the establishment of the direct sanction process, the regulation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment, among others initiatives She has been a trainer in environmental issues for entities such as the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, the Latin University and the National Committee on Climate Change; and recently, has participated in the drafting group of the proposed constitutional article on climate change.
